About US

The ArtReach Foundation® (ArtReach), is a (501)(c)(3) nonprofit based in Atlanta, GA. It is dedicated to the healing of all persons whom have been traumatized by war, natural disaster, displacement, and loss.

The mission of ArtReach is to influence and assist - through creative expressive arts therapies - the growth and development of children who have experienced the traumatic effects of war, violence, and/or natural disaster.

The vision of ArtReach: Project America is to provide all combat soldiers and veterans help through the ArtReach Model of treatment as provided by Trainer Teams of creative arts therapists, mental health professionals, and veterans.

ArtReach's unique “Train-the-Trainers” creative arts psychotherapeutic approach has helped its participants, both domestically and internationally, heal from the traumatic effects of war and natural disaster. This healing has been accomplished through experiential learning within the cultural context of the population being served. Using educational and didactic components in group process, the ArtReach Model enhances the restorative powers of the arts to relieve the suffering of adults and young people deeply scarred by trauma.
