Who should attend:

This workshop is for active duty military and veterans with symptoms of combat stress, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and/or mild Traumatic Brain Injury. Any active duty personnel or veteran may attend upon clinician referral or self-referral. Clinicians may attend with prior clearance (limited space for clinicians).

Workshop Description/Goals/Leaders:

Two full days of participation in group process using the therapeutic creative arts (drama, art, movement, music, writing) led by a Training Team of ArtReach creative arts therapists, mental health professionals, and veteran-mentors. The goals of the workshop are to promote reconnection and healing with one’s creative Self that may have been numbed or disconnected as a result of PTSD and/or mild TBI, and reconnection with others in the “safe space” of a small group setting. Attendance at both days is required.

Registration Costs:

Clinicians $185 - Includes lunch, refreshments, art supplies and a certificate of attendance. Veteran registration is $35- Includes lunch, refreshments, art supplies, and a certificate of attendance. Pre-payment is required.
